The Amazon Rainforest has always fascinated Oxford University biologist Erika Berenguer, PhD. In 2012, she moved to the Tapajós National Forest to study whether and how the forest could help us fight against Climate Change. She soon discovered a burning issue she had to address first.
With all the changes caused by forest fires and climate change, scientists are starting to question if there is a Tipping Point, a moment in time that will define the inevitable collapse of the Amazon rainforests.
